St Cuthberts Way

So I went off to Northumberland to support a group of fundraisers raising money for the Alzheimers Society walking 26 miles in one day along St Cuthberts Way from Hethpool to Holy Island. It was a fantazi weekend - a night in a proper in a middle-of-nowhere bunkhouse followed by a day full of sweat, tears and mud (cow-pooh to be precise) in that exact order. It was fun and exhausting as always - I cant quite believe the DA crew do it week in week out - I can see its a good fun meaningful thing but I still need a good week to recover from one single little tiny event......just don't ask me to give up the day job.
