So its Day 2. He seems to have decided that he needs to stick close to me and is a bit suspicious of everybody else (although Mum seems to be quite nice despite the fact he doesn't know her very well). He doesn't know me very well either but has very quickly decided that I am his New Mum - which is a mixed blessing. He doesn't like it when I leave him - which is a big worry but what we do know is that he is in all other ways a Very Good Boy. He yapped himself to sleep in just a few minutes last night and slept through till 6.50am when he decided to have a little howl to himself. We went off for a lovely long walk down the fields and then pottered about the house all day (squeezing in another 2 walks along the way) and he is by far the most adorable little thing I have ever laid eyes on.
He is going to have a little practice at being on his own tomorrow..........here's hoping it goes OK
