The Marathon

So I went off to Sainburys today with my treadmill and ran/walked for 7(ish) hours. LadyLuck cane to sing a few tunes, and my quite-marvellous parents provided the support team - snacks, soup, drinks, security, technical support and tin-shaking - they were just generally quite brilliant. I raised £570 - was really hoping for £500 so am completely chuffed.

so 7 hours on a treadmill - its so easy!!!! Compared to 60 minutes running round the fields - it was nothing.........or so it seemed at the time..........right now 3 hours later everything is starting to hurt, especially my left big toe - a new pain for me - this is not good, my lower back keeps me awake most nights and my right knee is useless, can't believe the toe is now letting me down.

I think I did 40km today - which is a marathon............its just a shame it took me 7 hours (think they might have closed the finish line by this time) - need to speed up between now and April
