Here is The Mini Swiss Roll. At the moment I am averaging one cake a day which means by the time it is the birthday of the little person I am planning to give it to they will be able to open up their own cake shop. I have other patterns for cheese straws, mini sausages, sandwiches, crackers and scotch eggs to name but a few. Maybe they will actually need to open a small Tesco Express. I am not sure how I feel about the fact that it was the idea of finishing off The Mini Swiss Roll that got me out of bed today.I spoke to two of my smug-married friends this morning. One was rushing off to her job as life-saving dynamic senior doctor in a busy A&E after successfully organising her 2 toddlers safely to wherever they need to be today. The other was revising for her final exams in order to become a top successful rich beautiful and clever orthopaedic surgeon whilst also looking after her demanding and lively toddler.
I, on the other hand was knitting a Mini Swiss Roll.
