The "Big Night Out" started with seafood noodles and a couple of bottles of wine. We then tried to find a bar but we couldn't cope with the loud music, nowhere-to-sit-down-and-chat and wall to wall size-zero 16-year-olds so we jumped in the car (driven by pregnant friend) and decamped to the lounge where we had another 3 bottles of wine (but that just makes us heavy drinkers rather than cool party animals doesn't it???). It was great to see the girls but the best bit of the night was seeing my lovely god daughter with her new hairstyle and her new-found love of blowing bubbles and perfoming acrobatics on the coffee table. What a little *star*
I managed to get a pic of the finger puppets I made her for her christening. I love these!
I got home from my wild-and-crazy night out to find this. I thought there might have been a mystery draft through the closed window but my mother pointed out that this was undoubtably the work of a mouse so I bought one of these
.........It then became quite clear that he likes chocolate because I came back from my hideously expensive trip to IKEA and B&Q to find this........
Hmmmmmmmm. How on earth did he manage to shift that MASSIVE bit of chocolate and not manage to set the trap off??? I like his style.....but I can't bear the thought of Mr Mouse eating his way through my bags of yarn in the conservatory (or coming and tickling my face in the middle of the night as my mother helpfully suggested he might consider) so I am going back in there with some peanut butter tonight....TBC....
