BBBR2011

.........so last week I went off to support the 280 cyclists on a 350 mile charity tour for Help for Hero's through the north of France taking in the battlefields and cemeteries along the way.

Quite easily the most brilliant, moving, exhausting and fun week of my life so far and a total privilege to be involved. I met some quite awesome people and when some of them thanked me for my help I was pleased to say it was an honour.

To sum it up is almost impossible - amazing people - of course the wounded soldiers but also participants from all walks of life and the crew, orange arrows, water stops, room allocation, punctures, squeaky horns, saddle sores, knee pain, sleep deprivation, feeling truly humble, the joy of late night grated carrot, wearing shades to hide emotion, knowing I can cycle 50 miles quite fast without any preparation and remembering there are much more important things in life than trying to look glam..........an awesome awesome awesome week.
