The Marathon has been getting me down recently............well - obviously its not The Marathon that has been getting me down - its My Left Foot that is causing all the endless boring anguish. The wheels have fallen off in a MAJOR way.I have gone from thinking it will get better and thinking everything will be fine, to realising it probably wont get better and thinking I will have to drop out entirely...............and what is actually happening is I am off down to London on Monday to see Somebody properly qualified (and expensive) who apparently knows what they are talking about. They will let me know what the score is with it all and make everything OK (possibly by jabbing me with hideous big needles full of poison). I am wondering if it is a slightly kerrazy thing to do - like taking my knackered old Peugeot to the Ferrari garage to get a wheel changed!!??!!??
In the meantime I am going to jog on the spot in the local swimming pool............I know - so devastatingly dull and embarrassing!!!!
