Being Good

I went off to see Miss Lucie yesterday. We went for Tapas-and-Rose at lunch and caught up on 6 months gossip then like Good girls we went home for X-factor with a little bit more wine and plenty of sparkling water and then had an early night (Very Good).

Being concious that in a weeks time I would be up at the crack of dawn doing press ups I managed to sleep till 9am so Loo was pleased that I was a Good girl not pacing about at 6am.

We got up and had blueberries, yoghurt and oats for breakfast (Very Good), went to look for my fireplace tiles, went for another lunch and read the papers - (William Hague and Wayne Rooney need some lessons on being Good) and then we went back to Loo's and I dutifully applied fake tan for her on her back which is a little BF ritual dating back at least 15 years and reminds me of the Good old days - all Good.

Today I went off to the most lovely yarn shop - Loop - in Islington - a very Good shop.
I needed to buy a single ball of wool that I am missing for my blanket and I was Very Good and didn't buy anything else - to be fair that is because I already possess most of the books that they stock and I really dont have room for any more wool in my stash (which is Good). I found myself back at St P half an hour early so had to pass the time in Lk Bennet. I tried on some completely gorgeous shoes but concious of the fact that I already have a pair in the same colour with a slightly smaller heel and I was Very Good and handed them back to shop assistant. I then strayed into Oliver Bonas and saw 3 very nice dresses but reminded myself that I already have at least 25 nice dresses and I was Very Very Good - I didn't even try them on!!!!

So am home, cooking a flan and having a very large glass of red wine - pfufff -you can't be Good ALL the time!!!!!!
