I (erm....we) have been updating Hozelock-Massive-Spaghetti-Junction. It is a bloomin good job my dad is the cleverest most practical talented handy-man in the whole world. On the other hand I might have found a husband by now if every other man in the world was not inadequate when compared to him!!! :-) Installing this watering system is a fiddly complicated expensive business but its all worth it when you look at the results.....

The down-side of the Hozelock-Massive-Spaghetti-Junction is all the constant MOISTURE. The evil slugs-and-snails are LOVING IT. Munch much munch munch munch. In view of the fact that The Neighbours have told me that slug pellets can hurt the burdies (thinking of Brenda The Blackbird in particular) I have scooped them all up. The poor slugs-and-snails are now being deposited in this very stylish jar and are being collected on a regular basis by The Neighbours to be fed to The Chickens. Poor things. I do feel a bit sorry for them but if they will insist on munching their way through my Sunflowers what else can I do???
