What a fantazi holiday we have had. We went to our new favourite place in the world with one of our favourite people in the world - Miss Tiny.
We were joined by Pantless Bill & Little Sarah & Lovely Rebecca. Life at Bryn Melyn involves lots of wine, chat, laughter & a bit of singing then up early to make sandwiches, proceeding onto climbing a mountain then returning back to the kitchen for more wine. MUCH more wine.

Amber was a *superstar* whilst on the mountains and didn't pay the sheep the slightest attention. I was really proud of her for being so sensible but realised when we did a nice little granny-walk on the flat that she was indeed extremely interested in the sheep but was just too busy clinging on to the mountainside to risk a full-on chase. She did eventually succumb to temptation in the middle of a nice flat field full of millions of the big white fluffy things and chased one of the poor stoopid beasts into a ditch which I then had to rescue as he was (we felt Bear Grylls would say) "moments from death".
My birthday day was fantazi. I had birthday baked beans on toast, I wore my birthday boots, we climbed a birthday mountain and then went for birthday beers in a beautiful birthday boozer and then went back for birthday roast lamb (yum yum - I did not feel an ounce of guilt), followed by birthday cake

and finished off with a round of birthday power ballads.

Ahhhhhh it was so much fun. For the first time in my life at the grand old age of 34 I felt really really sad the next day that it was no longer my birthday.
Bloomin Brilliant it was!!!!!
