Glamping

So me and The Sister and Camping Dog went off to Shropshire for some Hot and Sunny August Bank Holiday Glamping.
With the rubbish weather conditions it was far from Glamerous but we did have the most fantazi time. Great food - deep red line-caught salmon, beautiful scallops from the posh shop in Ludlow, Lemon Sorbet, Baclava and lovely pasta with hare sauce.
We read a zillion papers from back to front, listened to lots of good radio and discussed What Girls Really Talk About. We made friends with our neighbours and various other campers + dogs, played Blokus, Backgammon and Bannagram, went to the local for afternoon beers and live music and enjoyed lots of admiration about our Bell Tent + Bunting and just generally had a fab time surviving in The Great Outdoors.
Mrs Lacey was at times mind-bendingly annoying but at other times the most perfect fluffy little thing you have ever seen in your whole life.
A great weekend - we love to Glamp - even if the weather is rubbish.
