So I went off to Stamford to celebrate Bill's Birthday.
Wendy, Tiny, Brenda, Mat and Lovely Lisa all came round for The Usual. We actually managed to do absolutely nothing all weekend apart from chat, eat, drink, papers and crossword. Well - thats not entirely true - we went into town and had coffee and Brenda bought a nice hoodie from Joules, I bought some false eyelashes from Superdrug and Mat and Bill unblocked the sink...........god only knows how we managed to cope with all the excitement of it all. Even Bill was a bit stressed about our complete and utter laziness........but I thought it was marvellous.
I did nip off for my first ever official Lady Luck gig in Mansfield on Saturday night. 50 or so octogenarians seemed to quite enjoy our little show........which is a good start on the pathway to worldwide fame...........I am the particularly good looking one on the right side with Strawberry Blonde Hair.
