The Shepshed 7

I did my first ever RACE today. The Shepshed 7. Seven miles in 65 minutes.
Things I learnt from my first ever RACE.........

1) I don't like people running behind me - I can hear them breathing and it puts me off - think this might cause problems on The Big Day.

2) I don't like people over taking me - it makes me go faster and then I want to stop altogether - think this might also cause problems on The Big day.

3) I don't like people running infront of me - I feel tense when they look older, fatter and less attractive than me - which most of them do - I think this might ALSO cause problems on The Big Day - hopefully they will all be wearing rhino outfits so I cant tell how old and unattractive they are??

4) stop stop STOP going out, drinking your own body weight in wine, vodka cocktails and free champagne whilst wearing your favourite 5-inch cage-heels and dancing round till 3 in the morning 2 nights before the event.................I think this one is quite important - my knees hurt a lot today - I blame the heels, think the alcohol intake is FAR less important...........

But anyway - the important thing is that after only 7 weeks of training I can run 7 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who knew I was so flippin' amazing???

And if Father Christmas is reading this it seems all the coolest running gurls wear knee high running socks - need some I think............??
