Early Morning Flan

I took on extra hours at work a few weeks ago. It has transformed me. Why is that I have less time but am more sorted?? My wardrobe is persistently tidy, my paperwork pile is small, my living room rug is hoovered, my plants are watered and I don't have any outstanding ironing!!??

The best thing is that I seem to be waking early and ready to GO - I found myself wide awake at 6.30am this morning and when I went downstairs to make myself a cup of tea I discovered some stuff in the fridge that needed eating..........so I made myself an early morning flan...........with a bit of pastry quickly made with the help of my lovely KitchenAid mixer and some eggs donated by yet another lovely grateful patient (what is it with me and patients and eggs?????...........)
