We celebrated The Sisters Birthday in style with a trip to London Town. We went to KJ's laundry and saw Lovely Kate and Gorgeous Lizzy and mum treated herself to a spanking new bracelet. We all went a bit mad in The Button Shop and then went on to Gordon Ramsays at Claridges............it was sublime. Champagne, Pinot Gris (go on mother - drinking at noon!!!!), pepper sorbet and a complicated advocada, potato, quails egg and parmesan cream something-or-other was followed by crab linguine, tomato salad and caesar salad for starters and then onto 2 lots of lemon sole and delightful chicken for The Sis. We finished with 2 fig tarts and a perfect chocalate fondant with mint ice cream for the birthday gurl.
The service was fantastic and The Sister was presented with her own mini birthday cake.............
...............which disappeared in the blink of an eye "happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me.........."
We then went on to La Cage Aux Folles...................
It was Fantazi.............those legs............those bottoms...........mum was LOVIN' it (and became slightly obsessed as she was even checking out bums on the escalator on the tube but dad still has a good bum so I don't think he has anything to worry about............)
We did not even really try to resist the urge to go into LKB. Me and The Sis were very restrained but Mother managed to treat herself to a gorgeous blue clutch bag.....well done!
We all came home smelling of pink grapefuit and The Sister loved her Rock Chick Chain Bracelet.................another fantazi birthday...........
