Exploding Eardrums

I have been properly ill. Last night I thought my head was going to explode but it was only my little tiny eardrum bursting.............the pain was excrutiating!!!!!!! Marvellous mother came round and gave me tea and tissues and did the washing up - she wanted to call out a doctor - humphhhh - I think doing the washing up was much more useful.
