I went to The National barbershop Convention with Lace City Chorus in Newcastle. I had a view of all the lovely bridges from my hotel room...................
We sang to the Tyne....................................
We wore very long lashes (not very well applied).....................
....................and lots of very sparkly make up, jewellry and clothes (I looked at least 50 in all the gear -hideous - it was!!)
.................and we sang on a big stage which was actually not nearly as scary as I imagined - bring on Nashville (canot wait to see how the Americans do it - with lots of bling I susupect...........)
