1) My good friend Leon gave me a copy of "Trail Running Monthly" yesterday and I carried it about in the airport with the front page on display at all times feeling smug and superior. I was wearing my new jumpsuit from Primark and kept imaging that people were giving me admiring looks - what is wrong with me?????? (I did then read said magazine from cover to cover and actually found it all really relevant and useful - Never-The-Less I am still a complete Looser)
2) I heard myself saying to people that I don't know "Oh - do you run?" several times over the weekend (like I had been doing it all my life)
3) On my run today I was confronted by a indescribable climb - at least 50 yards of slight uphill - I turned up my i-pod high "I've gotta get Through This" (Daniel Beddingfield) and I thought about a quote form Lance Armstrong - "Pain is Temporary, Failure is FOREVER".....????
4) I got back from a really quite pathetic 7km run today and emailed Tiny the minute I got home to tell her all about it.................
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.................somebody stop me...........

my favourite saying in my family is " no pain, no pain"
I LOVE that - not heard that one before - but that DOESN'T apply to High School Exams - "no pain - no future" (Dr Emma Naylor)
revising is for whimps, burger king is forever!
