(I have just encountered "Shale" for the first time. I just crawled down at least 500 metres of it. I don't know what it is but it is scary and painful and exhausting and I am currently advertising for a new home where I can just lie on the flippin' sofa and occasionally go for a quick sniff round the local park. I HATE SHALE and shall NEVER walk (slide) on it again... humph)
